Algonquin Park Paddleboarding & Yoga Retreat

September 4-7, 2026 (4-day)

Remember how good life feels when you slow down.

Imagine starting your morning with coffee on the dock as the lake wakes up around you. Moving your body with yoga in the fresh air. Watching the sunrise from your paddleboard. Swimming, sauna, nourishing meals, campfires, and conversations that leave you feeling lighter than when you arrived.

This isn't about ‘retreating’ away from your life. It's about making space for the parts of yourself that get quieter in the busyness of everyday life.

You’ll leave feeling…

More rested

More connected to nature

Like you've had a real break—not just a weekend away

Inspired by meaningful conversations

Nourished by a slower pace

More confident on the water

Tuned into beauty

Free from your phone

Hi, I'm Courtney

I created this retreat to share a place with you that means so much to me.. the lake where I first tried paddleboarding over 10 years ago — an experience that created a ripple effect in my life toward a deeper connection with nature and myself. This is a place where we always return to shore just a little more present, with eyes wide open to the beauty around us.

My favourite moments aren't the big adventures, they're the quiet ones - the first paddle stroke at sunrise, the laughter around the dinner table, the crackling of the sauna, yoga on the dock as the loons call, the moment someone realizes they're braver than they thought.

I’d love to share those moments with you.

You've been saying ‘I need a weekend away’

You love being outside (or want more of it)

You enjoy being active but don't need an intense schedule

You're coming on your own and are hoping to meet like-minded people

You want someone else to plan the weekend so you can simply arrive and enjoy

You're craving a slower pace

You want to feel comfortable coming on your own (many guests do)

You want to try something new while being supported every step of the way

This a was an amazing experience. People were at all different skill levels and everyone was included. Leaders were so nice, friendly, knowledgeable and respectful. Food was incredible. And as you can see the surroundings are beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone.

I decided to attend this retreat this year because it was my 50th birthday. I had high expectations but my weekend went way beyond my expectation. The lake is clear and clean. The property is just wow! The off grid concept is just what I needed, no phones, no data, no internet. Just being one with nature. The meals were culinary art for all of our senses. The owners and the staff were exceptional. I absolutely loved the fact that we did not feel forced or pressured in participating in anything, we got to decide what felt good for each one of us. I had the privilege of meeting an amazing group of women with some of the same interests as me.

Testimonials

The SUPtember retreat is the perfect blend of nature, connection and paddling. Courtney and the Edge team did a great job of fostering an atmosphere of community through the food that is mindfully prepared, the cozy cabins to retreat to at night, and activities that allow you to connect to nature. Courtney is a thoughtful retreat host and paddle board instructor - I had a chance to level up my SUP Skills and go on a few paddling adventures. Waking up at the crack of dawn for the Sunrise paddle is a must do! This retreat is highly recommended.

Not knowing any of the other attendees before arriving and being very new to paddling and yoga, I didn't feel 'out of place' at all, and by the end of the weekend, being the incredible instructor that she is, Courtney had me certified as an advanced paddler by Paddle Canada. The retreat is suitable for all people, male or female, advanced paddlers and yogis, as well as the totally green. Some of the highlights of the weekend were moonlight yoga/meditation on the dock, the most epic and moving sunrise paddle ever, and of course the fantastically healthy gourmet-quality food...and above all, the new friends I made. It was a peaceful weekend that was nurturing to the soul -renewing, relaxing and uplifting!
